The sport's image gets tarnished once again
We were going to blog about what a great day it is at the races today...but the BHA charging 13 people with corruption has rather spoilt that.
The race-fixing allegations involve two owners and five jockeys.
Jockeys Greg Fairley, Paul Doe, Kirsty Milczarek and Jimmy Quinn along with former rider Paul Fitzsimons have been charged with “conspiring to commit a corrupt or fraudulent practice” following a British Horseracing Authority investigation into suspicious betting on races.
They are accused of “intentionally failing to ensure that their horse was run on its merits” and are alleged to have liaised with betting exchange account holders, offering information about horses for gain.
Registered owners Maurice Sines and James Crickmore have also been charged by the BHA, together with six other men – Peter Gold, Nick Gold, Shaun Harris, David Kendrick, Darren May and Liam Vasey.
The allegations focus on horses being laid to lose on betting exchanges in 10 races between January 17 and August 15, 2009.
* Welcome to all of our new members and here's hoping for a successful weekend.
Our extra text messages are proving to be popular and we hope everyone is sharing the success!
* We are really intrigued at the news that Wootton Bassett will clash with Frankel at Royal Ascot.
We love Wootton Bassett and tipped the star colt in the French 2,000 Guineas. Sadly he finished fifth after a wide draw and a poor start.
We also think Frankel is awesome - and said so after his blistering last appearance at Newmarket.
This really could be a fantastic race for race-lovers everywhere.
And we are offering all of this experience for FREE. Join our service for a free trial and see how we can improve your betting performance. Click here for more information.

Interesting day for winning horse racing tips
We tipped five hourses yesterday - and had THREE winners and a very close second.
Members saw a good 7/2 winner in Gatepost in the 4.10 at York. That's one to keep an eye on in future.
We were really disappointed to see that Barefoot Lady lost by a nosehair to Joviality. She's only a small horse but runs with a big heart!
Our first tip ran well until the last couple of furlongs in a big field.
Our members also received two tips late on for horses running at Naas.
This is a tipping service we are hoping to build on through the flat season - we get information through the day and will be sharing the good tips with our members.

Evening service proves it worth with a 3/1 winner
It's a feast of top quality racing today - and do we have the winners? I believe that we have the best horse racing tips.
We had a good night last night with a second and a 3/1 winner.
These two tips were put out at 5pm after our experts had studied the form book. How many other horse racing tipping services do you do that?
We are hoping that today is even more profitable!

* Frankel was awesome yesterday. For anyone who didn't see the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket, the horse was just supreme and led from the front with a classy field of horses behind him. He romped home at 1/2 but I imagine he will be a bigger odds-on favourite for the Derby.
* Two punters share £576,894 Scoop6 bet (Racing Post): TWO punters shared Saturday's £576,894 Tote Scoop6 thanks to the surprise success of 18-1 shot Tangerine Trees in the Group 3 Pearl Bloodstock Palace House Stakes, the final leg of the bet.
The Bryan Smart-trained six-year-old eliminated all but two of the remaining 62 tickets, meaning the two successful punters collected £201,913 each. One was a large-staking Totesport customer but the other staked just £8 in a William Hill betting shop.
Whoever you are - well done! Having to rely on an 18/1 shot would have been an interesting race to watch.

It's the first classic of the season - will we see an upset?
Today sees Frankel tackle the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and everyone is expecting what is a truly great horse to be crowned as one of the best racing has ever seen.
But here at Winners Bet Winners some of us have our doubts.
Frankel was unbeaten as a two-year-old and ran exceptionally well with many of the horses he beat going on to win other high quality group races.
His debut this season was in the Greenham at Newbury and he was fresh and lively and won the race with ease.
In the ratings he is miles ahead of anything else but, as I say, some of us here are unsure that he will pull off the Guineas.
The going is good to firm (in places) and we've seen lots of decent horses being turned over here.
The course itself has some troubling undulations. This hilly nature means horses are forced to overreach and that can hurt, and Frankel has a high stride that looks much more suited to the soft ground he raced on last October at Newmarket in the Dewhurst.
The doubters among us may be proved wrong and Frankel may overcome the conditions and that's what will make him a truly great horse which will be a boost to racing.
* I see Rob Wright in The Times is tipping against Frankel. He is opting for Pathfork. It's a bold prediction and one which makes sense though the Irish horse hasn't run this term yet.
It's a great line-up and is sure to be a great race.
* For horse race selections that win, choose Winners Bet Winners to improve your betting profits.
